we’re so excited to share this collection of songs that remind us of each other and our relationship: love, friendship, and romance. we hope you enjoy each track, and the stories behind what makes each one so special to us. 

1. I Will Follow You into the Dark by Death Cab for Cutie

   1. we are such huge fans of Death Cab for Cutie, and this song perfectly sums up our feelings for each other — that no matter where we go, we will follow each other.

2. Passenger Seat by Death Cab For Cutie

   1. a beautiful song that reminds us of our time driving around the city at night, with the windows down, just enjoying life.

3. Orange Sky by Alexi Murdoch

   1. we both loved the show the O.C. when it was on, so of course some of those tracks had to make it on the mix. this one in particular always makes us smile, and slows us down, and reminds us to take some days to relax and enjoy the beautiful orange sky.

4. To Be Alone With You by Sufjan Stevens

   1. a gorgeous song with beautiful lyrics about the things we’d do to just be together. we love Sufjan Stevens’ music, and this song is no exception — it is hauntingly beautiful.

5. Skinny Love by Bon Iver

   1. a song we will forever have on repeat.

6. Sparks by Coldplay

   1. “i promise you this / i’ll always look out for you / that’s what i’ll do”.

7. Open Your Eyes by Snow Patrol

   1. we both loved Snow Patrol in college, and this album came out when we took a trip together to Spain — so we both had it on repeat. this track in particular is so beautiful, and a good reminder to keep our eyes open to any and all adventures.

8. Such Great Heights by Iron & Wine

   1. a cover of an amazing song by The Postal Service — both of which are absolutely perfect.

9. Naked As We Came by Iron & Wine

   1. the soft guitar, the beautiful lyrics. ❤️

10. Song for You by Alexi Murdoch

    1. another discovery thanks to the show The O.C. we both loved listening to his music, and love his voice. a forever favorite of ours.

11. Cartwheels by The Reindeer Section

    1. so we know the lyrics might not exactly match up with the mood of the song on this one, but we both love this song! and we’d like to just focus on the thought of doing cartwheels because we’re together. 🤸🏼‍♂️

12. Eyes by Rogue Wave

    1. we’ll always know that our love and journey lies in each other’s eyes.
