Dancing On My Own by Robyn

I am reading Lena Dunham's memoir FAMESICK. Which is fantastic by the way! And, reading it made me want to rewatch Season 1 of the GIRLS. I chose this song bc/ everytine I hear it, I think of the iconic episode that features this song. In an instant, when Marnie joins Hannah dancing in her room solo to this song, you know that they are ride or die. And, I'll always love this song and this show for highlighting the magic, the complications and the resilience of female friendships. -Jenn's pick @jennjenn1020
